With a compact size and moderate heat output of up to 5kW, the Highlander 5 is an ideal stove for heating small to medium rooms
The Highlander 5 has been developed to increase the choice of the Householder, using the same superb burning technology as the Highlander 7. Same air wash system. Same shaker grate system only slightly smaller, but can still take logs up to 280mm long. Same range of suitable fuel. Same metallic black finish
Solid black handles as standard, with brass handles available on request and DEFRA approved for use in Smoke Control Areas.
The Highlander 5 has a smaller overall size than the Highlander 7, this has enabled the design of the door to be altered, so that on the Highlander 5 there is only one door to open for re-fuelling and removing ashes.
This also means that the safety precaution to prevent over-firing is automatically provided for.
The Highlander 5 has two combustion controls to control the burning rate, with an efficiency of up to 70 percent
The Highlander is a traditional Woodburning and Solid Fuel Stove manufactured from the very best material, finished in a heat resistance metallic black stove enamel paint.
The firebox is lined with high temperature firebrick, the bricks have been pressure cast for longer life.
