The Honeywell SF 450EN carbon monoxide alarm is fully guaranteed for 6 years and is designed for a six to seven year life under normal operating conditions.
It is approved and kitemarked to the European Standard EN 50291: 2001.
No maintenance is required during the life of the alarm ; no batteries, sensors or other parts will need replacing in that time.
When the alarm is sounding the batteries will last up to 5 days - after this time the alarm will need to be replaced.
Mains wiring is not required ; batteries supplied are pre-fitted.
Alarm is an 85 decibel (at 3 m) buzzer and a visual warning.
Alarm levels ; 50 ppm between 60 and 90 minutes, 100 ppm between 10 and 40 minutes and 300 ppm less than 3 minutes.
There is a test facility, a self-check function and an end of detector life audible warning.
Operating temperature range is -10 °C to +40 °C. Humidity range 30 to 90% RH.
This item may be wall mounted with fixing kit provided, or be free standing, therefore suitable for use in the home and on holiday
